"My goal is to do my job with excellence and to always incorporate the students' opinions and requests in my decisions. I am running because I want to make sure that the student body is and always will be SGA's number one priority, to bring more school spirit to the university, to make sure that there is an equal opportunity for all students (commuting students and on-campus residents), and to let every student know that I will work hard. I will make time, and I will be dedicating 100 percent of me to this position."
Ty Slater
"SGA's purpose I believe […] should be a government for students by students. As an elected student leader we must all remember to serve the interest of the student body at large. I believe firmly that AASU can and will be the best but it begins with us uniting this campus, each student, and each organization, and by reaching out to our surrounding community. I am the only candidate and registered student at AASU that has served in every capacity of our Student Government, and I have built strong relationships with faculty and students here at AASU in my many efforts to better our university. That is why students should vote for me, if for not anything else […] my commitment, service, and dedication to them and our university for the past three years has been unwavering."
Eleora Marcel
"My goal is to increase school spirit, continue the great communication within the Executive Board and Senate, accurately take minutes and send the information out in a timely manner as well as keep a close relationship with the student body by communicating with the Recognized Student Organizations so they are updated with the Student Government as well as the Campus Union Board.
I promise to fulfill all the duties as SGA Secretary with dedication and professionalism in a timely and orderly fashion."
Attempts were made to contact those individuals not pictured. Not pictured are vice-presidential candidate Rae Moe and secretary candidates Kimberly Brown and Courtland Hendricks.
