Post-graduate fellowship

Graduate student David Newcomer, a student in the Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) program, accepted a post-graduate administrative fellowship with the University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina.

Newcomer will serve his 12-month fellowship at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C.

His fellowship will focus on hospital operations and will be project-based with direct interaction with the medical staff.

Newcomer received his bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from AASU.

Pitt County Memorial Hospital is one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina.
